The truth about $79 dollar installation

If you think that the home center are giving you a great deal with there $79.00 whole house installation, well you are wrong. If fact it's not even a good deal. Why?   In order to get this great deal you have to upgrade to their premium pad for an additional $8.00 a square yard.m I checked the pad that they are giving and it only retails for $2.49 a sq yd at any real carpet store. So the other $5.51 sq yd offsets the $79.00 deal. Actually our installation and better quality pad is included in the price of the carpet (we allow $7.99 sq yd for our installation and pad)
Hey people you will never beat a man at his own game and these home center people are playing big games with your money. The home centers are actually higher in price then most stores when you compare all the extra charges they add on, like moving furniture, $25 per chair, $50 per table, $75 per sofa, etc. When add this to their total cost, they become the highest prices provider. They also use the lowest cost installation company. None of which are mill certified and qualified to properly install your carpet. There are actually web sites of disgruntled customers who cannot get satisfaction. If you want the best job for your money trust the independent dealer. G. Fried Carpet & Design has been serving North Jersey & vacinity for over 32 years. You don't stay in business to long if you are fooling the people.
Stores that are now out of the carpet business or gone: Kaufman Carpet, Allen Carpet, Sandler & Worth, Giant Carpet, Sears, Macy's, Home expo, Huffman & Koos, A & S, and B.Altman.
